I absolutely love classic Nintendo games. I've been playing some good old Mario, and some Mike Tyson's Punch Out, and a game nobody has even heard of Dragon Fighter. Its pretty good stuff. I've played mario so much that it's just kind of going through the motions, but then again i've yet to actually beat he game because i'm usually just seeing how quickly i can get through all the levels. Overall its some good stuff. I play'em on my laptop because i've got a fancy emulator and all the Nintendo games on there. They pretty much kept me alive during the days in AP Comp/History when i had no desire to pay attention. And really what else was there to do in Study Hall anyway.
So there you go, a blog post.

Yeah
FAFSA blows.
Spring break yay. I think i'll just go down to Cancun or something, because i'm just that cool. Or i could just stay at home and go to meetings with my business group and bicker about what kind of business we should create a business plan about. But then again thats life.
Oh and here is a verse i read the other day that i liked.
Proverbs 15:30 (NIV)
"A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones."
Yeah its pretty cool. I'm not doing to good about bringing you good news. Hopefully that doesn't work the other way around.

gahhh.
So i just found an article that pretty much sums up what i was gonna write for my commentary for composition. This makes me happy, to a degree. But then again i'm a little ticked because now i feel like i'm using all their points in my commentary but i would've used them regardless or not whether i read that article.
I suppose my biggest issue is that my ideas just aren't original.

Job, School, Money, Women
Its really hard to put things in God's hands, right now especially. I want so many things to go my way and the more I try the more I realize that my way sucks. So just kind of to put it in writing, I'm working on it....well He is.

Gluttony
Well i must say that yesterday I had one 44oz. Pepsi freezy, one 44oz. Coke freezy, and (although irrelevant to my comparison) a 20oz. Mr. Pibb. (i ate subway as well so i'm sure to not put on any pounds.)
I must say that Pepsi freezys are waaaaaaaaaaaaay better. Seth and I debated this one day and he, an avid coke lover, had to agree that the pepsi ones are as a matter of fact better.
But unfortunately it is much more convenient and about half the price to get a Coke one when coming home from the Fort. So i'll settle for the inferior taste of a coke freezy.
Chicken crackers are also delicious. You should try some.

More ramblings
I'm sure one of these days i'll come up with something really clever or thought provoking. For the time being you will read my ramblings instead.
I just spent about an hour trying to figure out what song i heard on the radio today. I despise the radio. It is such old technology. I despise the fact that you have no way of knowing what song you are listening to. You would really think that stations would at least have the courtesy to tell you the name of a song and the artist before and after it is played. Instead we settle for an announcer saying every once in a while what song was played.
So thats the problem but wait there's more. Along with its already subpar features you can hardly ever find a station that plays music that appeals to you most of the time. I respect the fact that the station I listen to is at least trying to get some input from listeners by doing an online survey. But this is just unpractical. Why should I put up with this when I can just listen to my MP3 player? ....... thats what i thought.
Unless you enjoy the bickering of morning shows or annoying DJs I can't understand why you would listen to the radio. Face it, it is dying. It is free to use and that's the only reason it still exists.
But i suppose i'm avoiding all the positives.
-local weather reports
-driving conditions
-free, but i mentioned that already
I still listen to the radio. That may surprise you after all my anti-radio ramblings. But I only listen to Christian radio, which i'm not huge on the musical genre but I am the message. I do enjoy hearing a little insight from the DJ's occasionally to be honest although they do annoy me to a high degree. I find no reason to listen to them on any secular radio station though because i'd rather be listening to music.
I miss my old 102.3. It used to be awesome before mexican music started blaring from its waves. It was the only station with a semi-good selection of indie rock. But now it is gone and has been for months now.
If you've read to this point you truly are my number one fan and I commend you. Feel free to leave your opinion as a comment.
